Course in Prolotherapy (with Certification)
The Centre for Bioregulatory Medicine in conjunction with the Asklepion School of Tibb is proud to announce a course for MDs, DOs., DCs., PTs., physiotherapists to learn the art and science of Prolotherapy.
Originally offered in Athens, Greece the school has now amalgamated with the Centre for Bioregulatory Medicine here in Portugal. where it continues to teach prolotherapy techniques along with simple osteopathic manipulation to support the prolotherapy treatments.
Wherever there is a joint there will be ligaments supporting it. Probably 80% of the patients attending the clinic have lower back pain, sacro-iliac joint pain and/or groin pain. To help the practitioner start using prolotherapy as soon as they finish part of the course we have decided to teach prolotherapy techniques for treatment of the lumbar spine and sacroiliac joints first.
Needle placement using Ultrasound Imaging
Many practitioners are unsure about using surface marking to identify underlying structures and so we will also be using ultrasound imaging to identify the tissues and the direction and placement of the needle.
